FOG FAMILY DAYS
Join us for the debut of FOG Family Days, featuring two special artmaking activities for children and their grownups at FOG!

  • ARTMOSPHERE
    Saturday, January 25, 11:30 a.m.–2:30 p.m.

Visit Artmosphere’s immersive pop-up experience, featuring a curated collection of delightful prints and paintings by Wayne Thiebaud. Visitors will admire the iconic artist’s work while children of all ages participate in a Thiebaud-inspired art activity led by Artmosphere educators.

The Artmosphere is a nonprofit organization dedicated to expanding the sphere of art through education, research, and community engagement. Founded in 2023, in loving memory of Wayne Thiebaud, Artmosphere aims to leverage the arts to foster creativity, cultural awareness, and social justice. ARTicles, Artmosphere’s educational resource initiative, delivers curated art learning kits consisting of lesson plans and materials centered on contemporary California and Bay Area artists.
  • BAY AREA DISCOVERY MUSEUM
    Sunday, January 26, 11:30 a.m.–2:30 p.m.
Come build a wire sculpture with the Bay Area Discovery Museum! Children will use their hands to twist, curl, weave and connect wire and build wire creations. In Wire Wonders, children will discover their capabilities, express their creativity and bring their ideas to life using crafting wire, playdough, pipe cleaners, and little treasures.

Bay Area Discovery Museum is an organization dedicated to one core belief: every child has the potential to grow and thrive through joyful play. Situated at the foot of the Golden Gate Bridge, the museum offers immersive experiences that spark creativity, foster curiosity, and encourage meaningful connections between children, their families, and the world around them.

PIER 3

FOG MRKT

This year, visitors to FOG will experience FOG MRKT, a curated installation and retail space in the fair's entryway showcasing local artisanal products and crafts. MRKT participants include 500 Capp Street, Blunk Space, JOYE / JESSE SCHLESINGER, Len Carella, Permanent Collection, and Quince & Co.

  • 500 CAPP STREET
Visitors to FOG can enjoy one-of-a-kind pieces at the intersection of art, architecture, and design from 500 Capp Street’s concept store, The Accordion Shop. This design-focused, artist-driven concept store is a part of the 500 Capp Street Foundation, housed in David Ireland's historic 18th-century home-turned- environmental sculpture in the Mission District. True to the spirit of 500 Capp Street, The Accordion Shop presents work that inspires artistic experimentation and collaboration.
  • BLUNK SPACE
Blunk Space at FOG MRKT will feature artisan-made reproductions of original objects by the late pioneering American artist JB Blunk (1926-2002), in addition to a curated selection of work made by contemporary designers at Blunk House. At FOG MRKT, visitors can see how Blunk’s work - from jewelry, to ceramics,
to wooden tableware - blurred the boundaries between life and art.
  • JOYE / JESSE SCHLESINGER
Founded by artist and designer Jesse Schlesinger, JOYE is a design studio located in Northern California. Visitors to FOG can experience JOYE’s beautiful heirloom objects, curios, and furniture. Made with respect for materials and the highest level of craftsmanship, JOYE’s approach is playful, holistic, and ecologically focused.
  • LEN CARELLA
Len Carella has an extensive history in design, and had a long career as a footwear and leather goods designer before he began working in ceramics. FOG MRKT will feature a selection of his installation art and sculpture, alongside his stoneware, leather, and small batch functional ware, designed for home and restaurant use.
  • PERMANENT COLLECTION
Permanent Collection is a design company specializing in the production of functional design for the home and kitchen. Founded in 2016, Permanent Collection produces refined everyday objects in collaboration with a range of celebrated international designers, artisans, artists, craftspeople and industrial designers — among them Martino Gamper, Max Lamb, Ryan Preciado, Simone Bodmer-Turner, and the estates of JB Blunk and Alexander Calder. Small batches of products are made in Europe and North America using the highest quality natural materials and unique processes. FOG MRKT visitors will have the opportunity to experience Permanent Collection’s elevated approach to functional design.
  • QUINCE & CO.
Quince & Co. is the award-winning Jackson Square hospitality collective founded by Chef Michael and Lindsay Tusk. At FOG MRKT, Quince & Co. will exhibit a selection of bespoke tableware designed exclusively for their restaurants Quince, Cotogna and Verjus. The offering includes limited-edition crystal from Austrian maker Lobmeyr; ceramics from Kyoto-based TOKINOHA Studio; and Scandinavian glassblower Jennie Jessen.

POP-UP SHOP: PARK LIFE
Started in San Francisco in 2006 by Jamie Alexander and Derek Song, Park Life Store and Gallery is focused on contemporary art and design. The Park Life pop-up at FOG will feature a highly curated selection of products from all over the world that include books, objects, design, editions, apparel, stationary, art, and more.

JANE CAFÉ

LUCANIA AT 16 POP-UP DINING
A16’s founder Shelley Lindgren returns to FOG Fair 2025, bringing a taste of southern Italy through a unique collaboration with designer & curator Mariana Velásquez and Jarrod Baumann of Zeterre Landscape Architecture. This year’s pop-up offers an exclusive preview of Lucania, the upcoming restaurant where Italy’s ancient traditions will come to life in a celebration of soulful flavors, culture, wine, and design.

FOG THEATER
In the FOG Theater we present a series of thought-provoking conversations and panel discussions that are free to visitors with Fair admission. This year’s program features talks that delve into topics and issues relevant to our modern world, with an eye to art and culture in particular. Our curated discussions include conversations and panels with artists, designers, curators, and other innovative thinkers.

THE FOG LOUNGE
Join us for incredible views of the Golden Gate Bridge on the mezzanine adjacent to the FOG Theater. The FOG Lounge offers craft cocktails by Rye Bar, greenery by Zeterre Landscape Architecture, and a hub from which to enjoy the fair.
