PIER 2:

Artist-in-Residence: José Figueroa

In celebration of its inaugural year, FOG FOCUS is pleased to launch an artist-in-residence program. Oakland-based artist/educator José Figueroa will present his work in Pier 2, and will also move throughout the entirety of the fair, sketching visitors and the various goings on throughout the week. Documentation of his sketching on site at the fair will be presented alongside his work. Each artist-in-residence receives a stipend as well as support to create and install their work at the fair.

BOG – Books or Goods

This pop-up bookstore presents new releases from 25 local artist-run presses. Publishers include Sming Sming Books, Land and Sea, Floss Editions, La Chancleta Voladora, Most Ancient, Current Editions, B.B. Press, Rite Editions, Demerrit Pauwels, Absolute Quiet Room, TBW Books, Tiny Splendor, More Human Editions, Night Diver Press, But Whole Press, Irrelevant Press, Basement, Visible Publications, Amaya Productions, Eggy Press, Colpa Press and more!

Creative Growth Art Center, Creativity Explored, and NIAD

Creative Growth Art Center, Creativity Explored, and NIAD are pleased to co-present a selection of contemporary art by Bay Area artists with disabilities. This presentation runs in advance of an historic partnership with SFMOMA, highlighting a significant acquisition of works created at these three visionary nonprofits.

Feltz Bagels by Lucy Sparrow

Lucy Sparrow will present Feltz Bagels, a fully immersive Bagel Bakery where visitors can buy their favorite lunch order handmade in felt and served personally by Sparrow herself. Feltz Bagels will offer thirteen varieties of bagel - each hand-sewn and available filled or plain with a sewn selection of New York staples; choose from a poppyseed bagel with a schmear, a colorful rainbow salt-beef bagel or the everything bagel filled with pastrami and pickles.

Gray Box Installation - Pierre Huyghe

FOG FOCUS will feature a gray box installation of Pierre Huyghe’s, Untitled (Human Mask), 2014 generously on loan from The Kramlich Art Foundation, a non-profit organization committed to advancing the field of media art. The work introduces viewers to the empty streets outside of Fukushima, Japan following the 9.0 magnitude earthquake, tsunami, and subsequent nuclear meltdown of 2011.

PIER 3:

A16 Pop-Up Dining + Bar

Enjoy the flavors of Italy’s soulful south amid a local collaboration by artists Kelly Tunstall and Ferris Plock for KEFE Inc. and Jarrod Baumann for Zeterre Landscape Architecture. Sharing a name with the highway of the two seas that runs across Italy from Naples to Bari, A16 takes its inspiration from this region, especially Campania. A16 at FOG features seated dining complimented by bar and coffee service. Wood-fired VPN-certified pizzas, pasta, salads, and more are offered from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. daily. A16 offers a selection of local and Italian wines, plus craft cocktails and daily Italian Aperitifs including negroni, aperol spritz, and sbagliato.

JANE Café

JANE returns to FOG featuring an espresso bar, baked goods, healthy sandwiches, and lunch offerings, as well as fresh juices. All items are house made with the freshest local organic ingredients.

Pop-Up Shop By Park Life

Started in San Francisco in 2006 by Jamie Alexander and Derek Song, Park Life Store and Gallery is focused on Contemporary Art and Design; featuring a highly curated selection of products from all over the world that include Books, Objects, Design, Editions, Apparel, Stationary, Art, and more.

The Fog Lounge

Join us for incredible views of the Golden Gate Bridge on the mezzanine adjacent to the FOG Theater. The FOG Lounge offers craft cocktails by Rye Bar and a hub from which to enjoy the fair.
